Pele came to our home from Merrinette Williams, Amerrykoon Maine Coons in Texas. We are thrilled to have a poly tortie the cattery, and Pele is all that we'd dreamed and more. Besides her beauty she is sweet and gentle, social and playful, and she quickly became very close friends with Chiana. Pele's kittens have been super sweet and loving, and she is an absolutely perfect mom in every way. HERE is Pele's baby album.

A member of Pele and Fireon's first litter of eight lovely kittens, Dora stood out among her littermates when she became a lap cat at the age of three weeks, and it didn't take long before we could not bear to let her leave us. Dora's name comes from a character in Robert A. Heinlein's tales of Lazarus Long, and it suits her remarkably well. She is super social and fun-loving, totally irresistable, and stunningly gorgeous. Dora's coat is softer than rabbit fur, and her color and pattern show nature's artistry at it's best. We feel so fortunate to have her in our lives. HERE is Dora's baby album.

Chiana is the first born and only female in our litter of seven from Chinook and Shania. We had waited a very long time for a blue smoke, and Chiana is a lovely example of her color. She has a super friendly and sweet personality, very smart and outgoing, always ready to climb in any available lap and give kisses. Chiana's first litter was unusally difficult, and none of her kittens survived, so we decided it would be best to spay her. We could not think of parting with her, so she will stay here to help with raising kittens from our other girls, and to continue sharing her love and beauty with our household. Chiana's name comes from a character in the Sci-Fi channel show, Farscape. HERE is Chi's baby album.

Ves'tacha is the Shin'a'in clan name for "beloved one" in a fantasy series by Mercedes Lackey, and she is very aptly named. She is extremely intelligent ("scary smart") and loving, and stubbornly insistant about having things her way. Most of the time she lets us think we humans are in charge of things, but we all know who really rules the house. Ves'tacha has had many wonderful kittens for us, and we decided to retire her from breeding this year. Of course she will stay with us to keep the house running smoothly and help raise her grandkittens. Our thanks to Linda Perisits, Oakbear Maine Coon Cats in Southern California, for this uniquely wonderful girl. HERE is Ves'tacha's baby album.
