KITTEN NEWS

No kittens available currently.

*A "reserved" sign on a kitten does not necessarily mean the kitten is sold. We normally post reserved signs while communicating with folks on our waiting list, arranging local visits, and waiting for deposits to be received through the mail; but also to hold kittens for a certain period of time so we can watch the kitten's development. We usually have a few breeders looking for new bloodlines for their breeding programs, and we also watch kittens for our own breeding program from time to time. These kittens are generally held until they are between 10 and 12 weeks of age, when their characteristics become more pronounced. If you are interested in a kitten with a "reserved" sign on it, please keep watching in case the sign comes down. We will remove it as soon as we know the kitten is available or when it is definitely sold.

Kittens are ready to go to new homes at the age of 12 weeks (16 weeks if they will travel by air), at which time they will be completely litterbox trained and socialized, and will have had two sets of vaccinations. Pet/show price is $600, payable at 12 weeks. There is usually a waiting list, so if you would like to be added to it please email us with the details of what you are looking for, a description of your home environment, and where you are located. Breeding rights are sold only to established catteries with good references. Pricing and availability is subject to change without notice. We reserve the right to refuse kitten adoption to anyone for any reason. For details about our guarantees and requirements of new owners, please review our sales contract.

Please email us for availability and details about individual kittens or if you have questions about Maine Coon cats in general.

To be added to our waiting list to be notified when new kittens arrive or become available, please drop us a note at kittens@liscoon.com. Please also check this page for updates. If we don't have what you are looking for right now, and you are hoping to bring home a new kitten right away, the catteries listed below have one or more Liscoonvarna cats in their breeding programs and may have kittens available now.
