January 20 & 21, 2001, 18th Annual, Cowboy Country Cat Fanciers Show in Loveland, CO

Our first cat show of 2001 was attended by Moonshadow in the kitten class along with her sister Shania. Joining us was Liscoonvarna Baby Mel, a brown mackerel tabby girl out of Kithri and Tre'valen, who now owns Angelle Bigelow of Littleton, CO, and Liscoonvarna Sunstorm of Cumbrescoons, a brown patched classic tabby girl out of Kithri and Starbuck, now living with Rhonda Garnett in The San Luis Valley. Fireon was also with us, entered in the exhibition only class, and as usual won lots of hearts and did a great job of showing everyone what a crime it is that polydactyl Maine Coons are not accepted for show in the championship class. Moonshadow and Shania, with only each other as competition in their color class, each took best of color in three rings of this six ring show. There were 14 lovely Maine Coon kittens there, and Sunstorm held her own against some very impressive boys. Baby took second best of breed in her last ring, and proudly went home with her Premiership.
There were lots of visitors during both days of the show, which was well presented and comfortably laid out. The vendors were top quality, and the competition was impressive. A wonderful time was had by all.
Below are pictures of our gang.
